This year’s conference will be held 17-19 November 2025 in Darwin, NT at Charles Darwin University’s new state-of-the-art city campus, Danala.

The conference theme is: ‘Language and the interface of mono-/multi-/translingual mindsets’.

The call for abstracts will soon be open, closing 17th May, 2025. There will be opportunities to submit proposals for papers, workshops and colloquium operating under the main theme of conference while interacting with four key sub-themes:

  • Real-world challenges and innovations 
  • Power dynamics in languaging 
  • Transformative pedagogy 
  • AI and disruptive technology in applied linguistics
